Cubase & Nuendo Question

Hi!

I´m new into all that hd-recording stuff and I have a question about the volume.

Is there a way in cubase or nuendo to open the volume-limit?

Every record I got too less signal out of my mic. With more output I got crackles ´cause of the limit.

thx!!!

Put some compression on the vocals, make sure that your signal on your mixer or in the mixing software isn't going into the red, and then adjust the overall volume in the Cubase or Nuendo mixer.
