The role of a moderator at Homerecording.
Public Notice:
A moderator at Homerecording.Com is simply somebody responsible for moving inappropriate posts to appropriate forums, and deleting spam. A moderator is not necessarily somebody with special knowledge about the forum they moderate, although they are required to know enough to do their job (which is very simple). When you see a person who is a moderator express his opinions, you should not give those opinions any extra weight just because they are a moderator. Other sites on the net have "professional" or "celebrity" forums moderated by well-known people like fletcher or harvey gerst. This is not one of those sites! A final note: moderators only moderate the forums they are assigned to, but the "moderator" title appears in all of their posts on the board. I post in the Dragon Cave and my title still says "moderator", but I do not moderate the cave. Thanks, Slackmaster 2000
