Cubasis VST Eq.

Can anyone help on this one? for some reason unknown to me I cannot Eq. on channel 1. All the others are fine, analog and midi, but I already recorded the acoustic guitar on channel 1.
I could most likely copy it to another channel but that won't fix the problem.

What happens Clive? It won't let you turn the EQ on? Or it won't even let you pull up the EQ plug screen? Or it won't let you click the button's for each of the 4 EQ points?

Bass Master,
When I left click on the channel one/two (stereo) "EQ" button nothing happens, if I left click on "insert" I can put in wunderverb, on the rest of the channels clicking on "EQ" brings up the EQ screen, I can adjust as per normal. I have version 3.7 Cubasis VST.

Hey Clive,
So it doesn't even bring up the VST Channel Settings window when you click the EQ button ?
Maybe it has been moved out of your viewing area - click on the EQ button for the channel, then go to the Windows pull down menu (in Cubasis) and choose stack or cascade. See if it appears.
I've had this happen when I pulled a window out of range 'cause it was getting in my way, then couldn't find it again...

Other than that I can't find any settings that would prevent the Channel Settings window from coming up.

Cheers,
Mike

Clive, I think teknomike might have a point. I've noticed this too. As I'll have several effects open when I've hit EQ I can't find it's window till I move the effects windows over or close them It seems to put the EQ window 1/2 way down or more past the task bar on mine. Very frustrating. I hope that's all it is..........Joe Recorder

Unfortunately I don't have any better advice to add. Let us know if this works for ya. If not we may be able to dig up more....

Guys,
Cascade, and it all appeared, like magic.
Thanks, on to the next bit.
