Track volume in Nuendo

Is there an easy and fast way to change overall volume of a track with extensive volume automation without redrawing the automation line?
To work around the problem I would insert a plugin with gain control. With all plugin processing turned off I would only use the gain control to up or down the track volume.
Is there some technique allowing to achieve the same result within Nuendo itself?

You send the channel to a bus and use the bus fader for the overall level control. works like a charm.
