I have been thinking about an altered form of Johns room setup.
Due to space constraints I am wondering what the effect would be of changing the 3 modules against the walls into one continuous piece. So the sides would be 2' that meet at a devider that cuts the whole thing into 3 sections. Does that make sense? The middle could be built with a 1' wide piece of 703 4" thick for bass, running from the floor to the ceiling. Another question I have is if I build slats on the front and back of my small room will it be too live? I have attached a rough sketch of what I am thinking of. Thanks for any help. Ryan |

That's looking good Ryan - just remember that the square footage of low-mid absorption must be around the the same area you assign to 703 if you want an even lowering of the reverb time. make sense??

If I understand correctly. If I have 35 sqft of slats ther should be an similar area of coverage of 703.
Does this count if it is on the ceiling? Thanks for your time John. Ryan |
