Bob Mould is on a distinguished road
The Lodge

Hello all.

Here's some pics of the ongoing construciton of my studio.
The framing is almost done as is the boxes for the slat resonators. Comments are most welcome.

http://hem.bredband.net/b108258/TheLodge/

The front wall will have a slat resonator between the speakerboxes and Acoustic hangers will be placed in the cavities underneath the boxes for low frequency absorbtion.

The rear wall gonna be fibreglass lifted off the wall and acoustic hangers in the left corner. The Side walls will be slat resonators aswell. I will use 22x95mm panel for the resonators much like the look of the doors but with bigger gaps between each panel.

The floor will be covered with regular office carpet (winered, got it for free ).

The ceiling will be a hanging frame with a slope of 6degrees from the middle of the room to the front and the same angle to the rear of the room, sheets of fibreglass will be placed inside the frame..basically the same principle as fibreglass of lifted of the wall.
