Project Studio/Production Rates

I have currently been approached by a number of different managers to produce and record their artists for demo purposes. The style being R&B and Rap. I have (in my opinion) a small setup but in comparing my project studio to others I have less than a professional studio but a bit more than some home setups I’ve seen. I have a degree in Communications a minor in audio production, and I’ve been producing and engineering for about 12 years. I say all of this because I don’t want to scare them away with what I want to charge however I’d like some ideas on a production/ recording fee that I can live with. Thanks!

Here is a list of what’s in my studio:
Mackie32X8 mixer
Mac G3/ w Digital Performer 3
Alesis compressor
DOD compressor
ART multiverb effect unit
Asesis QSR module
Korg TR Rack module
Roland p 330 digital piano module
Akai 950 sampler
SP1200 drum machine
DX100 keyboard
Casio WK1800 keyboard(76 keys)
Phillips CD burner
Sony Dat recorder

Whatever you DO decide to charge, you could charge more if you got rid of the Alesis and DOD compressors!!!

What city are you in? You can pretty much charge whatever the market will bare.

That can vary from $15-45/hour for a project studio.
