The Best Advice in my opinion load your music up on ALL OF THE ABOVE because you never know someone might search one site and not the other and the more sites you are on the better chance you have of being heard

Nowhere is tops. MP3.com is not user friendly.

Anywhere that has exposure is great! but you need to make sure when someone pulls down your tune it hasn't been bastardized! I have heard stories about some of those places, maybe someone else has more info!

MP3.com gets the most traffic. Period. Even though they're greedy scumbags.
Start with the king, if nowhere else.

Sign up with about 3 and go from there. Every site sucks in one way or another. Most in different ways. I am signed up with IUMA, Indielaunch and now nowhere radio.... I never even liked visiting mp3.com so I cant suggest them.

What's Nowhere Radio all about?
Sounds like people here dig it. I've never heard of it.
Ampcast used to get rave reviews. Now its artists are not happy.
Java Music has a buzz going on...
How much more traffic can you get than MP3.com?
On IUMA I was lucky to even get 20 visits per day. At MP3.com I get 100 on a slow day.
Many artists get well over 1000 downloads per day.
I've made some great contacts on MP3.com, too.
And they manufacture CD's to order. Not bad if you need 25 CDs quickly for 4 bucks a pop for reviews.
My only complaint is that the vibe's corperate and greedy with popups and artists with money buy their exposure.
To put myself in the shoes of the fan would be a better perspective.

Stay Free!
Jeff
