Ramsa WR-S4416 opinions / experiences?

There's a used Ramsa WR-s4416 at a local shop - anybody have any experience with this series of mixers? It is very clean, and it seems to have been a more "pro" mixer than many of the $1000 new mixers now available.

It's priced about the same as a new Soundcraft M8, but it's a more versatile 16:4 configuration. Any opinions on which of these two would actually sound better? Mic pre and EQ quality comparisons? I could certainly get by with the M8 if it sounds better, but I'd enjoy the flexibility of the Ramsa if the pres and eq are comparable.
