Question Total novice

I currently have my pc hooked up to a 220 watt amp with some acoustic solutions speakers,it sounds ok but when i want to party and crank up the volume it just doesn't cut the mustard.I mix my mp3s using traktor and want to play it loud!I,ve been told the best thing to do is get some studio monitors,i know that i could hook up some passive monitors to my amp but i,ve set my heart on some Behringer B2031 Truth studio monitors which are active bi amped, does this mean i don.t hook them up to my amp?How do i connect these speakers to my computer? Please feel free to laugh at my lack of knowledge but also please help me if you can!!!I need to get these beasts so any info would be appreciated : ))
