MIDI & Digi001?

hi!
i use midi a lot, but two month ago a got "pro tools digi001" and its grat, for audio. I play guitar (not keyboard) and I have to write on the staff all my midi drums, bass, keyboards... protools dont have staff view =,( And I cant use soundfonts. every time i want to change something I was to close protools and go to my good old cakewalk.
-what can I do to make things easier?
