barefoot i need your help man

hey guys (and especially you barefoot cause i know you know ur shit)heres the situation:a pal of mine who is in a hard core rock band ask me to run sound for his band.the rehearsle room is pure shit;12x20 with every thing lined up on the long wall like so,marshall stack,drums(and this dude has a huge kit),bass rig,(also huge)marshall stack.as im sure you can imagine this room is a low freq. nitemare.having these guys turn down is out of the question(something to do with artistic integrity or some such nonsense)i would appreceiate any input on how to set up/treat this room

What’s the ceiling height and what kinds of interior walls, floor, and ceiling does it have?

the walls and ceiling are half inch sheetrock.ceiling height is 8 feet.like i said ,a real nite mare! the floor is concrete with carpet.

Just a few more questions shep,

First of all, I’m guessing you want to solve the acoustic issues in the rehearsal room so you can work on getting a good mix for playing out, right?

What instruments are going through the PA? Also, what is your budget? Can you do some minor construction on the room?
