Acoustic slide performance

This is my friend Greg Zark. We were jammin after the bar closed and I had to give my new audiophile 2496 sound card a test. Greg is known for his drumming but he picked up a few other talents along the way. This was recorded with an SM 58 on a couch, (forgot to get mic stand) 1 take with no audio tricks but a small amount of hiss reduction and EQ. Oh yea, did I mention we were a drinkin? Enjoy, Charva

hey Charva, nice voice.. I'll skip the mix comments because you probably don't care about that on this.. The soundcard sounds nice and clear to me though.. You don't sound too hammered!

cool..

I had to crank the volume up about 6 notches louder than I usually have it set on just to hear it.........it's not mixed quite hot enough...I dont think it's even hitting the standard 0db at peaks.......the recording is sparkly clean but the performance isnt anything mind shattering.

Thanks for taking the time to listen. I hope to have more tunes coming in the next few weeks. The word is out that I can record tunes on my computer and the victims are lining up at my door. Thx again, Charva.
