Midi Help

I am trying to get a software product (Band in a Box) to work. The software keeps saying "there is no midi output driver installed". Does the soundcard have to support midi? How do I find out what soundcard I have (I don't have any manuals or anything) and whether it supports midi. I am using windows NT.

Well, it's a MIDI program, so if you have no MIDI devices, it'll run, but there will be nothing to hear.

To find out what soundcard you have, check the control panel under Multimedia; it should show you information about any audio and/or MIDI devices you have on your system.
