Smile the session, thank you!

Hi,
I just finish building my studio and yesterday had a first test recording session with a free jazz trio (guitar, double bass, drums).
I had to build movable screens for this session and I like to thank you all and especially to john sayers for the help!
the screens where not 100% finished for the session(didn't paint them, didn't put wheels and hadn't got the cloth for the "dead" side) but where good enough for use and they are great! here are some pics.

Guy,

How good was the isolation of the drums you achieved? Where were you monitoring the session and through what?

I, and probably some other folks with live room recording setups would be interested to know what you were able to do.

Thanks for any details you can provide.

Alex

Hi,
the resolt was very impressing ,as you might c in the pictures the doublebass standin ca. 1.5-2m from thedrums and still I manage to get a basstrack just with minimum spill from drums.
theslotsin the other side (facing the drummer) helped thedrums mic to"hear" better sound absorbing problematic freq.
still this panales didn't really help my room to be less reverbyso I might need to think about some wall treatment.
my studio build like this that the live room mics goes tthrough stagebox directly to the console (cp6800) and other pres so I can monitor it while recording.
