Question

I need to mail individual CDs (with jewel cases) to my friends across the country. What is the best way to do it? I'd like to protect the jewel case from cracking but don't want to spend much money mailing it all.

Thanks.

Lightbulb

Most Computer stores and Office Supply stores carry cardboard CD mailers that carry one CD in jewel case. The USPS charges ~$1.35 to mail it like a letter. For multiple CDs, those little boxes that CDNOW uses to ship CDs will be cheaper.

The post office has little bubbly wrap envelopes that don't cost much, too. I used these to mail to friends. It's best to mail them from the post office rather than with stamps though since they can calculate exact weight and postage cost; if you use their envelopes it's one-stop mailing, less hassle.
