Hanging Speakers

Have some heavy speakers to hang and was wondering if anyone has seen a white paper on the proper method to use.

All the paperwork says do not attempt this unless your a professional, but this can't be rocket science.

TIA,
TNT

Probably no white paper since it's going to be site specific. The critical factor is what you're hanging them from, and that will vary by location. Do you have any friends who are structural engineers? You might be better off building a custom frame or getting some speaker stands.

Brand

JBL4726X/F. They come w/ special mounting brackets and you have to buy $49.00 ea AST rings, however no one seems willing to post how to mount them.

We hung 'em yesterday using Carter Wire Rope Products and Stainless Steel DRings. @124lbs a piece this was fun.
