Any of you who don't know what the hell a soundfont is are really missing out .....

I've been working with these for almost a year now and a lot of them sound better than some keyboard sounds and vst instruments......

One link sucked, one was down, and one I already knew about(but I still appreciate it man......don't get me wrong).

Maybe that ftp thing isn't such a bad Idea..........I can also set it up so you can get some of my stuff(on a direct connect hub I have) if you want!!

@soundboy,

A vsti that uses sound fonts is BS-1, also Halion and Battery are able to load them.......they are really good(if you come across some quality ones) and could have your music sounding quite nice(like live instruments).

I got a cheap ass 56k dial-up modem connection

Just looking for anything sounding better than the regualr general midi instruments(especially strings and hit-sets)

I peeped some classical type stuff and guitars a while back.

My cuz found the Triton soundfonts a while back. They are big as hell. I'll hollar at him but it's tight on me getting em to you. Maybe he will know where he got em though. Peace.
