I think it's because the main melody is too chopped up in an untimed way. If you see what I mean.

1)I'm feelin' "rather unique".....only thing is that I don't feel the snare on it for some reason...just me 2)"mass appeal".....I think is phat as ish.....really liked how you chopped it all up and blended it together..really like how the bassline flows with the kickdrum keep choppin' son .............................one............. P.S. I got that licence yesterday............good lookin' out.

I actually like the snr in that joint ist got a real lash to it.... Glad you received the license enjoy the usage.... Word... I had peeped one of these a minute back on my homies computer. Somewhere around when you first posted em. My bad on the response. Just was in an beat to ear slump.
I’m digging Rather Unique for sure. I hate telling cats what I’d do and shit but on the real I’m just str8 up hearing a long decay clap layered just under every other snare. I’m loving that snare though. Tracks rolling. That electric piano is some tight shit too. Digging how it came back in after the change up (0:43). You making a power move I see. This next joint is some ole, I probably shouldn’t have done it but I’ll damn shoal do it again if you make me, type shit. Ha… It’s definitely tight. You made my night with this one. Intro and all sounding real tuff. Chops tight. Bass tight. Ha… One thing I’m hearing (through my preferred reference headphones) is that the intro must be clipping or something. Other than that it’s str8. This is definitely one I’d be banging to feed my 3 a.m. madness. You know I gotta peep F^#@ That while I’m around. Keep it up doc. I’m feeling it. POWER MOVES. Ha… Just peeping how you kept jumping. POWER.
