Question Looking for an audio interface...

... so I can record guitar and vocal at same time. Not a mixer.
Something like Edirol USB audio interface UA-3. Have one Line in on PC. Running GT2. Thanks.

If you are only recording 2 channels at a time, why not just record guitar through the left channel and vocals through the right on the line-in jack?

You don't need an additional interface if thats all you are going to do, just maybe a preamp. USB audio interfaces suck anyways with the bandwidth limitations...

This site has some excellent reviews of sound cards that will suit this purpose - http://www.pcavtech.com/soundcards/index.htm

I am using the Aardvark DirectPro 24/96 which gives me four inputs, (recorded to separate tracks), and four outputs.

The Card D+ also always gets good wraps and is reasonably cheap. (as you would need two)
