In just reading one of the replies to a posting, there was an advisory to stay away from SoundBlaster Live for audio. I was considering purchasing the Platinum version, next week, but - as I will mainly be doing audio - I wonder if someone could impart to me what would be the best card.

Definatly stay away from soundblaster. Look at Event, Gadgetlabs, Lexicon...There's a bunch of great, cost effective alternatives out there.

Hey Shakes, I just listened to your tunes. Very slick production and sonicly superior.
Mikey likes it. [This message has been edited by Track Rat (edited 06-13-2000).] |
