Presonus blue tube preamp is this a good pre-amp, anyone heard it out there ...
Is it true behringer are mass produced in china, are they currently under legal action from a larger more established company for having there products look a little too much like somone elses

Most of Behringer's gear is assembled in China under Behringer's quality control.
Mackie took Behringer to court several years ago, but I have not heard any new cases against them.

For a cheap price, it's supposed to be a decent unit.
Better than the Tube MP, I'm sure.

That Presonus VXP with the optional 24 bit/96khz soundcard looks like a real sweet unit. I'm going to give that one a good, hard look. It's got a lot to offer for only $600.00.

how does the mic preamp in the PreSonus Blue Max compare with the preamps in their M80? same sheep in different clothing?

i have a digital 8-track recorder and i was considering the M80 because it puts 8 mic pres in a 2-space rack.
