Question Session Drummer PA9, Slicy in Sonar XL

I like session drummer in PA9 and become familiar with and loading new styles. I am becoming more adept at Sonar XL and have almost migrated completely to XL but I really like session drummer over Slicy, but if I insert it in to FX in a midi track XL locks up. Is this due to a coding incompatibility between PA9 and Sonar XL?
