im programming a sound editor. can you give me some algorithms to equalize a sound? also co-programmers are welcome.

You'll need to bone up on DSP stuff, and digital filters in particular. Try http://www.dspguru.com/ for a start. I hope your math is stronger than mine.

Question

Not sure if I understand the question...
Are you looking for parameters to use for EQ? (ie. Q, Gain, Freq, etc ..)
For what type , graphic, parametric, etc etc?
If you're really just after the math behind this stuff ... then just ignore me!
