Distributing master thru the internet (security)

Hi guys. I want to explore the possibility of delivering masters (in this case of commercial films, but maybe it's similar) thru the internet. The whole selling and distribution, since I am in another hemisphere with respect of my clients.

Do you know if this can be done in a secure way, if there are companies that do it? Is there an encryption or copy protection mechanism, like somebody can see/watch the master as long as it is authorized thru the net or something?
