multritracking in CEP 2.0

Do you think I can build a solid multitracking solution (32 ch f.e.)
in cooledit 2.0).
I do not want it to crash, never ever.
I would like it to be a bit like most recording stations without computer work.

And could I use the same cards and computer to work with SONAR ?

I am working with a creamware luna card.
And I am completely disgusted by it.
I do not like the environment and I cannot work with it.

Basically I am just looking for a decent recording setup that doesn't crash. I've had my share of the windows non working drivers and stuff. I do not ever want to see such a popup screen.

What do you people think of pro tools?
I've been working with CEP 1.2 and I find it a very nice program.
Still, I need MIDI. So I guess it is not the best choice.

thanks for reading this !

LOL. Exactly.

The times that Cool has crashed on me, though, I've always been able to retrieve what I've been doing when I re-booted the computer. Cool does that ongoing backup thing in a temp file. Very, very useful. Crashes don't matter.
