i run a music store in fla called santarosa sound i have managed the place for 3 years now andseen lots of the company schecter makes good quality guitars for cheep and thats been there thing not to mention i have sold quite a few on looks alone my favorite model would have to be the c1 classic or elite but they make many good quality good lookin guitars for cheep . the olny problem i would have wtih them is the necks i my self am a dneck fella i like em big and thick but for those of you who like the slimer faster necks there not bad and a few of the models leave some to be desired in the pic up area ie. the 006 but all and all the guitar you got is not a bad on . but there is a common missconception about all this there really is no good or bad guitar its what ever fits " you " and makes "you" happy the olny reason that people favor name brand stuff like prs gibson fender is because they have heard there good and they admire the people that have them because they could afford it all guitars are is just wood and metal "in most cases" and quality differs in even the same models by the same makers but alot of cheper to mid level guitars are just as nice a real expensive ones . and one more thing that a lot of people dont under stand is that if you guitar is somewhere under 500 it was probaly made by samic no matter what the name on the head stock is ie low to mid level fenders ovation applause bc rich the list goes on and on so no matter what you pay for one or what it says on it there all about the same with verry minor details so good buy if it makes you happy

I played one yesterday actually. I didn't like it. Neck feels funky, hate the bridge.

The neck on my Ibanezes feel better.

But that's just me.

I consider that to be a cheap guitar. That's just my opinion though. I also tend to find epiphones to be cheap. I go for the Gibson, PRS, or fenders. But this can be out of some people's price ranges.

destorctr-

Do you use "free form" inventory and accounting methods in the music store you manage, also?

I mean, do you "get creative" with the zeroes and decimal points?

Where did you get one for $300? I'd pay that in a heart beat for one. And just for the record, I like expensive guitars too...

sometimes it's just fun to have a new axe regardless of it's price.
for example, I paid $80 on ebay for an 80's Washburn PRS Copy. Come to find out, it's a rare collector's item!

schecter is the shit

Schecter is the shit. I own a couple and they are very nice, and easy on the pocket book. Don't get the real cheap ones. I have a 006 walnut finish, satin model. Looks awesome and sounds great. The diamond series elites are awesome as well. Buy one. Super expensive guitars are cool too, but i don't feel that a 3000 Les Paul is any better than a 700 dollar Ibanez. You make it work, whatever it may be. It all lies in the player. Long Live Schecter. I guess back awhilke ago before anybody new who schecter was they made alot of BC Rich style giuitars.
