Rewire2: Cubase and Reason Trouble

Ok, so when I installed Reason with Cubase vst 32 already on my computer, Cubase worked fine. Reason would not open; there was a warning box that said something to the effect of "Rewire2 cannot be opened." And it would not let me open Reason. Reason included some progam that fixed this problem (apparently there is a Rewire2 problem between certain versions of Cubase and Reason). I clicked on it and it told me that the problem was fixed, but Reason still does the same thing. Even when I uninstall and delete Cubase, Reason still pops the little warning up. Please help me. I must have Cubase, and I hate to think that i wasted all my money on Reason when I cant even use it.

Of course, this question has absolutely nothing to do with MIDI, so you might get a better answer in another forum. The computer music forum is worth a try, and ifthat doesn't help try the forums on Propellerheads homepage. They should know.

There is no way Reason can't be worth the money. Just playing with that wavetable synthesizer is worth it. :-)

subtractor is an unknown quantity at this point
I had that same prob.. Are they both legit copies? If so you should be able to get updates or tech support to fix it. I have reason2 and cubase sx now and they work together fine.
