Punching Question
I want to be able to hear my guitar through my headphones (as I play) along with the track that I'm attempting to record over. I'm getting one or the other, either my playing or the playback but not both. Seems simple enough but I haven't cracked the code...
I'm using the Korg D1600 Thanks...Rich

What does the book say?

Nothing is mentioned in the manual on how to do this. It leads me to believe that it isn't possible but I don't want to accept it! How else can you punch if you can't have your guitar and the playback both audible during the process?

If the book says nothing about a punch edit, you may have to do a step edit.
See if it says anything about that. |

try recording your punch-in onto a separate track, while the original one is playing and then chop'em up and stick 'em together....would that make sense???

you know just for shits and giggles pull the headphone jack out a quarter of the way and see if it helps

Thanks for the feedback...
Turns out that I had to copy the track to use as the playback and then punch over the original. Rich
