apogee mini me

im a avid pro tools user "001" but im worried about the a/d converters in the thing which sucks cause im stuck with it i think there is way much neglect on a/d converters cause the consumer pro level has pretty crappy ones for the most part i think if i would re do it iwould have gone with something that i could change the converters out but thats ok the apogee mini me is suppost to be the holy grail of a/d converter mic pre package and the sucesser of the track 2 any thoughts on this thing? or any digitla mic pre for that matter? thanks also im currently working ona multi thousand dollar album when its done ill have enough to buy a diffrent platform any suggestions?

Maybe move up to the Digi-002?
If the 001 has spdif, then get a Lucid converter, cheap and really good.
