Let Me Describe The FMR RNC to You

Just in case you're thinking of ordering one.

First off, mine was shipped in an envelope. It's way smaller than it appears. Yes a padded envelope

It’s packaged in a little cardboard box smaller than a cigar box

The only writing on the box is done by hand with a magic marker

The start up manual is 4 pieces of paper stapled together

There is no on off switch

There are no balanced ins or outs

Why? .... As best as I can figure they don't waste money and then charge you for bullshit that you don't really need if you are shopping in this price range. Instead you get a really nice little compressor.

It's great! It’s simple to use and sounds great. I really like it. I just get a kick out of describing it.

In proportion I'm sure you are right. You probably own single cables that cost this much.

Man....dont worry about a thing. You'd have to spend a chunk of serious change to do better than the RNC and even then, you'd most likely get "different" than "better."

hmmmm, yeah, I dunno. I mean how good can it be if it came in a padded envelope?? No formed foam or nuttin? No fancy artwork on the outside of the box? No little check mark bullets marking off its features?

Because when I received mine from www.mercenary.com
they included the Royer 121 ribbon microphone CD along with the
free ear plugs and now...I want one!
(must have been Fletcher's idea all along to get me hooked)

I have an RNC and I also have a Behringer Composer. With the Composer my sibilance is much less. But with the RNC the vocals are still way out of tune.

Fuck it. I am gonna buy the quadraverb.

Nothing else will gate my signals effectively.

Don't buy the RNC. It's flanger sucks ass!!!
