Mic-Pre, Compressor, EQ with 2 XLRs

Hello. I am looking for a small unit that has these 3 features:
1. Mic-Pre w/ 2 XLR Inputs
2. Compressor
3. EQ (this is optional, not required)

I'm looking to record using 2 Condencer mics simultaneously (vocal and acoustic guitar) and using this unit connected directly to the soundcard. I've been looking at the Joe Meek stuff, but the compressor/mic-pre I like (MQ1 and MQ3) only have 1 XLR input. I have a Marshall V67 and SP C1 large condensers. Any suggestions?

I agree with Chessie. For those 3 features the word small and affordable go away....far away. If you have 3 grand to spend I could steer you in the right direction I believe.
Maybe the Focusrite IAS200 or 2 of the JM VC1QSC

Get a Soundcraft M4 Mixer and a FMR RNC compressor.

Unfortunately, I don't have 3 grand to spend. I have a Mackie 1202 vlz. I heard the Soundcraft mixers are awesome but I guess the Mackie's are good too. I'll try the FMR Real Nice Compressor or the Joe Meek Stuff. Thanks for the suggestions.

The Joe Meek Twin Q is exactly what you are talking about. It may be more money than you want to spend however seeing as you have been looking at the MQs.

Otherwise I would look at the RNC and an audio buddy if you are going for inexpensive.

Correct you are Brian. The TwinQ is about $799.00 in the stores. Two mic pres, two compressors that link for stereo, and two EQ's. There are two meters and a port for an optional Digital Card at 24 bit 96K out in SPDIF. Oh yeah, there are two front panel instrument pres on 1/4".

I know, I answered it there as well. The reason I was late answering it here is that I was having a hard time pulling the feather out of my ass....
