New revalation

Holy Bejesus,

I was recording to tape and dumping off to hard drive, and wondering why my recording were sounding so... digitized...

I got brave tonight and took my 4 track out of the chain, and recorded mic to pre to line in of my sound card, and threw my headphones to the headphones of my soundcard and I almost pissed my pants at the clarity of my recording.

Just in case anyones doing the same thing... I wish I had done this a year ago!

I think you have some serious issues that need to be dealt with.

misterx is on a distinguished road
Yepper, welcome to the digital world. Keep your 4 track around though. The digital stuff is sometimes too clear, a little tape saturation goes along way.
