Fruityloops

Hi. I have Fruityloops Express, packaged with Cakewalk, and I was interested in learning how to use it to create drum tracks for the songs I want to record. Since the drum tracks I'll be recording will be mixed with live-recorded instrumentation, it just doesn't sound right to use the technoish samples that come with Fruityloops. I want a nice, natural drum sound out of the program, and I'm not at all sure how to get it.

Basically, I suppose I'm looking for a Fruityloops tutorial. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

-Kyle

search this forum for Fruity Loops, Fruity, or FruityLoops. A lot has been posted about this topic. The key with FruityLoops is that it can use any 16-bit sample, so you can make it sounds as real as you want.

Fruityloops is very flexible, the most important stuff to make it sound good is to find good samples. The samples that come with the program suck, so you'll have to search on the net, or by fellow homereccers in your area.

I assambled that way 2 CDR's of good drums samples, and once you get the hang with Fruityloops (very easy to use) you can create pretty realistic drumgrooves

Thumbs up

Hi Tom,

I just d/l'ed those drum samples from your site a few days ago and wanted to say thanks. They are really a big step up from the "realistic" sounds included with Fruity.

Seeyuh!
