Question Does AKG make closed cans?

I'm looking to get a pair of 'phones for monitoring. Since I will be using them while tracking vocals, I want to make sure that bleed through is not a problem. I can get a deal on AKGs for just over wholesale, but I haven't been able to find any with a sealed design. Does anyone know if they exist?

If they don't, can someone who uses AKG cans tell me if bleed through is an issue for them? Is "semi-open" as good as closed for practical purposes?

Thanks.

Yo Lame of Emal:

Yea, verily, AKG makes closed cans....most cans are closed; however, NOT ALL CANS are closed.

So, my preference would be the Beyer DT 770 cans; however, I have AKG cans and, yet, even a wireless set of "closed" JVC cans that are quite convenient to do work when you need to move around your studio and not trip over wires.

So, most cans, not all cans, but most are closed and will help you eliminate "bleed-over."
