Thumbs up Cool guitar leads or Riffs?

I know there has to be some people on this board with Major guitar skills. If you got clips of a cool solo or just a tight riff, Id like to hear it.
I made this lead part up the other night screwing around, I think its pretty cool. http://wireneck.layzee.org/demo/fadingclip.mp3 Starts about 12 secs into the clip let me know what you think. Let me hear your material as well
later

Thumbs down No replys?

I guess no one has anything theyd like to share. I know that theres nothing that I like hearing more than a Killer guitar riff. Whether its full out shred or just something really melodic with great feel to it. Maybe im just a weirdo?

That's some awesome shredding. Check out this website:

I would contribute but my shredding days are long gone.

I'm in JJT's boat.
Looong gone.
Sometimes just thinking about looking for my pick wears me out.

Sounded good Wire.
I've some cassettes of me horsing around about twenty years ago. I'll try to get them on my hard drive and share 'em with ya. Most of my tapes have rotted on me, so this will give me an insentive to help someone out and get those songs and pieces to a cd.

Hi Wire.
I moved out of my shack when I had some work done to it a few months ago, and since I moved back in I've been very neglectful of unpacking and putting my stuff away. I live alone so there's no little woman to sit on my back riding me all day.
I'll have to locate the box I have the tapes in, then I'll convert them to data on my drive and let ya know when I'm done.

Here's something - really bad recording quality, but it was fun...

(right-click and 'save target' if left clicking doesn't work)

Peace

awesome guitar work

Scmaxfield,
thats some awesome lead you got there man. How long have you been playing? The harmonies at the beginning remind me of something DEATH would have done. Sounds cool though.

Hey, Wire.
I haven't forgotten about you. My kids and a few grandkids packed most of my stuff. I have no idea where to look for those tapes. In one box I found some shirts, a frying pan, some garden tools, gloves and canned dog food.
Nothing is labled.
Just want to keep in touch and let ya know I'm looking as time permits.

not going anywhere

Awesome Badgas,
take your time. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I find myself spending more and more time reading this board lol. Addictive isn't it?

Addictive?
Never thought of it as such.

I'm sure that's not the reason I feel better when I leave here.
I'm sure of it.
Yes, positve.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've learnt so much here. Some good guys come by now and then. Wish they'd come by more often.

Hey Wireneck - Thanks for the complement!! I've been playing on-and-off for about 17 years now (geez - i'm am getting old

Actually I came up with the part at the beginning after being inspired by an Alcatrazz tune (with Steve Vai) - the particuliar song was "God Bless Video"...
