Is it just me or has anyone else run into this. I am running this EQ as a insert on my vocal channel. I am running out of my mackie vlz sr-24-4, I have the input and output set at +4 on the EQ, and when I solo the vocal channel on the board I am well below clipping. Yet this eq seems to want to clip.
Is it this EQ? If I pull the gain enough to stop the clipping it is hard to get much signal? Thanks F.S.

I think I need to unplug the insert cable. Then set my gain using the solo function. Then plug in the eq and adjust it.
I think I may be seeing the return gain from the insert. That would explain the clipping on the eq with the solo meter below zero. I will try this in the morning ![]() F.S.
