looping techniques

Hi Everyone,
I'm brand new to this site and wasn't sure where to post.I'm recording ensemble string sounds in Logic to make soundfonts.I've had very good luck so far except for making seamless loops.I go from Logic Audio to Sample Wrench(my wave editor),to Vienna Soundfont Studio.I know looping ensemble sounds is notoriously difficult so I was wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks? Also,is anyone firmiliar with Antares Infinity?

looping

To be more specific. Is it better to use Crossfades on long loops?I mentioned Antares Infinity because they claim to be able to make the most seamless loops.I'm not trying to start a Sound Forge verses Cool Edit verses whatever debate. Thanks in advance.
