I'm using Logic Audio Gold software w/ Sound B Live Retail Sound Card. I want to connect my Rode NT1 Mic to the SPDIF digital inputs of the sound card. What is the simplest and best way to do this? A digital mixer w/SPDIF out?, or a digital decoder?

Cool

Probably depends on whether you'd like to use the phantom power and mic pre-amps built in to the mixer. If you've already got a better dedicated pre-amp setup than that available in the mixer, then the A/D converter might be what you're after.
