How to mute Korg D-1600 metronome?
Does anyone know how to mute the Korg D-1600's metronome? I've checked the manual and can't find any instructions on this. I do a lot of recording right next to the unit and, despite my best attempts, the metronome keeps picking up on all my tracks. Ugh!
Thanks in advance. Jason |

There are several ways to mute the metronome; the easiest is to just turn it off. Hit the "rhythm" button and on the touchscreen display there's an on/off button. There's also a volume button on the touchscreen right beside the on/off switch. The manual covers this ad naseaum.
It sounds like the real problem is your headphoes though. If you have the clicker on so lound in your headphones that your mic is picking it up, you should either turn down the volume in your headphones or buy a decent pair with closed backs. Tbabes |
