Song for my Wedding
Howdy,
I wrote this song with my Fiance after we were discussing the legalities of giving everyone a copy of the song to which we have a first dance to. So instead of using a song like Lonestar's Amazed or Chicago's Your the Inspiration, we wrote our own. I'm in the process of arranging the strings (MIDI) at the moment and hope to have the backing music sorted out in the next couple of weeks. By the way, I'm Daniel and my fiance's name is Tia. Here are the lyrics: Can I have this Dance? Daniel: When a woman comes along and your world gets turned around You've got to hold on to her and let the love flow Tia: After your swept up in love and you can't sit still Just look into his eyes and see forever in him Chorus: (Duet) Can I have this dance? For the rest of my life I never want this song to end Because I'm dancing in your arms Can I have this dream To live in every day I never want this night to end Because I'm dancing with you Daniel: Let me take you in my arms I want to be as close as I can Holding you so tight I know what love is now Tia: Your heartbeat next to mine I never thought love could be like this My life will never be the same Now that you're here Chorus: (Duet) Bridge: (Duet) The future can't be seen But it seems we had a destiny To be here tonight Now joined for eternity Chorus Repeats © Daniel Porter and Tia Sneyd 2002 -------------------------------------------------------- I'd love you hear your feedback.
