Zoom RFX-300 Effects Processor

Has anyone used this unit yet and if so would the compressor function in it be good enough or would a person be better off buying a seperate one for their home studio. how are the mic simulator's?

Ihad purchased one, but sent it back after a couple of days. The effects are good for the price. I have a nano compressor that worked alot better than the zoom comp. So I didnt really use it. I thought that the mic simulations were also in the catogory of "good for the price". The main reason I purchased the zoom was for the "mix down effects". But, while the "wide" effect was good, I didnt find much use for the other ones, they were sort of like fancy EQ. I would say if your on a tight budget, and dont already have effects and a compressor, that the mic simulator and the price would make it a good buy.
