Is there any news on these "coming soon" pres?

How about that MXL mic mod? Can't remember details...V63 or V67 I think. Chessrock, I think, sent his out. How did it turn out?

These things nag at me at night. Vaporware? What?

Don't you hate waiting for the next great thing and it never arrives?!

Don't sweat it. They are all going to be available 'next month'.

I joined this BBS in January to see what the latest greatest cheap home gear was and even back in October '01 both those pre's were reportedly 'just around the corner.'

Fletcher over at the Prosound website mentioned there is a waiting list that has been published for beta testers at the FMR site. Here is the post.

Thanks all for responding to this. I figured it was a dead thread. I'd still like to hear about the mic mods. Maybe they aren't done yet.
