MOTU Micro Xpress & WinXP - WTF?
I am trying to get the Micro Xpress Console loaded in WinXP with no dang luck. I have updated drivers from the MOTU site - with the right ones! When I try to install the console software, I get an error box saying that I don't have multimedia drivers installed for the micro - so I recheck and try to update the drivers, but it does no good - the dang thing says there are no better drivers where I am telling it to look (the file I downloaded and unzipped from MOTU). And the device manager is telling me that the micro's drivers are installed and the thing is working fine - but I can't control it without the console software.
Has anybody else had this problem - and if so, what can I do? I have emailed MOTU tech support, but I also emailed them a year ago about something else and they never responded, so I am not expecting much from them this time around either. Please help me! I will be your love slave if you help me! Brad P.S. I am going to cross post this bad boy in the Computer Recording/Soundcards forum. If you don't like it, talk to the moderator of the "Kiss my Ass" forum. |
