Shaky does electronica....WTF????????

So I just got myself a copy of SimSynth (pretty cool software for 35 smackers). Anyway, I was playing around with it, and came up with this...second song down on the page:

http://artistlaunch.com/artist3.asp?artistid=1636

Not much to it I know. Like I said, I was just playing around. What I ended up having to do was do some EQing on it. I thought it made it sound a little warmer.

What do you think?

that's what I get some Sunday mornings on the first tee at the golf course, after a hard, long, Sat. nite of music and beer, a
shakey tee, he he he he he

don't you just love a new toy. when I got a new synth back this spring, I couldn't keep my hands off. stayed up to many nites. love the synth sounds. course mine is for the guitar. I enjoyed your little ditty and your other tunes to.

I've had a copy of SimSynth for some time now.
I got it when it was freeware. It's quite a resource hog, but I like messin with it. Haven't used it on any songs yet.

Sounds mellow.
Have fun.

Thanks all!

I don't know what I can do about "poppy" notes. I've stopped listening to Pop music a long time ago but I still consider myself a Poppy kinda girl...

I don't want to be too critical since you're still in the experimental stage, but it does sound like "piddling".

I've tried that software and really don't like it - should be called SinSynth. A short attack popping sound can be cool, but this software just can't pull it off.

For reference you may want to hear some amazing abstract "piddling" done semi improvisationaly on an incredible sounding synth. Go to a big library (probably the only place you'll find it) and check out Morton Subotnick's "Until Spring". Incredible 'organic' electronic sounds.

Keep experimenting Shacky Tee! There's never enough of it in the world of music!
