Exporting Wav Files in Sonor 1.0

I did a search so sorry if this has been answered before. I can't seem to export 24 bit wav files in Sonor 1.0. I have the file bit depth set to 24bit. The 24 bit wav file imports fine but after I edit and try to export the files nothing happens, no error message or anything, the file just doesn't export. I have a SoundBlaster Value card which I believe is 16 bit, it this the problem? Thanks for any info.

Make a copy of the file open it in a new file.
Go to tools/change audio format and then choose dither to 16 bits.
Then try exporting this.
I do believe it's the sound blaster.

Thanks. So using your suggestion I'll end up with a 16 bit wav file? I want to load this file back into the Roland VS2480 recorder, I'll have to check and see if the recorder will accept 16 bits
