Question session drummer

Hello I'm just starting to use Sonar2.0 xl (also new to home recording) and i'm having a problem with session drummer, I can add it to a track but i hear nothing coming from my computer, and there is nothing reading on the meters as well.

I have an amd atholon xp 1800 with a abit kt7 motherboard, 512 mb ddr ram, and an a-open aw-850 deluxe 6 channel pci sound card. Is it my system, or am I just a fool?( please dont reply to that last question)

The session drummer gives commands to a sound module, you must pick the module, internally the Edirol VSC,externally a drum machine or keyboard.
Some soundcards have internal synths also that can be used.
Open the session drummer and click the gear icon to asign the proper output and midi channel(probably ch 10).
Make sure to click the name bar to load the sequence because even if it shows up it may not be loaded.

Talking

thanks, I got it figured out, I had to not use the wdm drivers. Seems that it was causing a conflict in sonar
