PA9 - Echo Mia 24bit w/ WinXP WDM drivers?

Hi all,
I just installed WinXP and the new WDM drivers for Echo Mia. When I change the bit depth in Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 to 24bit, I lose the analog record input option (only midi). I had no problems recording in 24bit on Win98SE, of course

Is there any way to get this to work, or am I going to have to get Sonar?

Thanks!

Pro Audio can't use WDM-drivers. Only MME. So if you want WDM, go Sonar!

Sonar, eh? Man, I picked an expensive hobby!

I just found this thing called Warped Wave Wrapper driver that supposedly wraps WDM drivers to present them as MME drivers to programs. (see www.tonewise.com) That way, theoretically, PA9 could work with the WDM drivers in 24bit ... I installed the driver, but PA9 doesn't recognize the wrapped drivers. Oh well! To Sonar it is I guess, unless someone can hook me up with some kind of trick...
