my first MP3
Critique this piece for me. Be as brutal as you gotta be (otherwise I won't get any better)
This was done July 4 2001, with a Yamaha psr520 and an MPC 1. excuse the flaws in the mp3 conversion. I used Media Wizard and got tired of tyring to smooth it out. 2. I know there's lack of panning and effects. I did'nt and don't know how to use all that. 3. Why is this digital stuff so hard??? http://artists.mp3s.com/artist_song/2524/2524314.html |

The beats lack aggressivity (If I can tell it like this)... The kicks & the snares are lacking 'power'... They should be 'hitting harder'...
Aside from that, I like the rapper... Peace, Beathoven |

Hmmmmm... You should be able to change the volume for each instrument on the mpc (I guess that you record each instrument one at a time). You just have to lift up the volume of the kicks & the snares, boost the highs of the kicks a bit and everything should be alright...

Nice song has potential... As Beathoven said the kik and snr are in the background... You need to make them stand out a little more.... MCee's sound pretty good........
