I used Music Studio Gen 6 for quite awhile before getting Logic Platinum 5 (The Real Thing), and Cubase VST/32. I'll try to help if I can. Fire away!!!

thanks atterion...

How in the heck do you pull up the "factory" functions...?

I load a 4 bar wav loop and want to piece different loops together, that are at different tempos, thus, I need to stretch and shrink and change pitch...the manual says "use the FACTORY menus...as far as I can see (when I double click the wave sample, no option for FACTORY fucntions...

thanks a bunch!!!

Arrow I use this software for my 2 track recording,...

in the most basic fashion. I like Magix Music Studio software, but can't help you with any advanced functions. Sorry!

No Factory commands are available if you have not designated some region of audio to edit. If you are planning on modifying the whole wav. file, simply Select-All (Ctrl-A). Once this is done you can go to Factory menu and select the process you want (In this case Time Machine). Hope this helps, if not let me know.
